Did you have a baby and are still having issues months or even years later? Maybe you have some leakage when you laugh or jump. Maybe you have pain during intercourse or pressure or pain with standing too long. Or maybe your abdominals feel weak and its causing back pain with lifting and carrying. The list goes on and on. Join me for a night of discussion about pelvic health issues related to pregnancy and postpartum and where to start in improving your quality of life. We will discuss the pelvic floor anatomy and its relationship to the deep core and how to appropriately use these muscles. We will talk about exercises to promote better pelvic health and reduce symptoms. We will also discuss what pelvic floor physical therapy involves and how it can help you reach your goals postpartum. There will be drinks and light snacks available as well.…
