Hello

Welcome to Embody Physical Therapy located in Waterbury, Vermont. Our mission is to improve patients function and quality of life by providing hands on physical therapy to address the underlying issues, not just the symptoms. We specialize in Complex Orthopedic and Pelvic Floor Disorders.

The therapist, Elayne Geba, performs an extensive evaluation of the whole body and develops an individualized treatment plan. All evaluations and treatments are one-on-one manual, hands on treatments releasing tight muscles and fascia, realigning posture and skeletal systems and re-educating the musculoskeletal systems to work in the most optimal position.

The mission of Embody Physical Therapy is one near to Elayne's heart. She has found in the last several years of evaluating and treating patients that people are better able to manage acute injuries, chronic illnesses and overall pain with manual, one-on-one treatment which addresses the whole body and whole person. The word embody means to take an idea or feeling and give it a tangible or visible form. At Embody Physical Therapy, we challenge our patients to embody the better physical versions of themselves which they envision. We help them achieve this through evaluation of the whole body, manual release and realignment techniques, customized exercise programs and education to help patients better manage their dysfunctions and improve their quality of life.

On a personal note, Elayne moved to Waterbury in June 2024 with her husband, Scott and son, Logan to a historic house they have owned for several years. She is often seen around town walking her wild 85 lb Bernedoodle, Addie. She enjoys reading, jigsaw puzzles, and pretty much anything outdoors (hiking, skiing, mountain biking, picnics, concerts, disc golf - you get the idea...). She is a HUGE sports fan and loves cheering on all the Philly sports teams (sorry Boston fans). She has been learning Spanish for 5000 years and is still a beginner :)
